Grayson Counseling and Consulting Services LLC offers the convenience of telementalhealth services, which includes teletherapy and online therapy for South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia residents who face various challenges/barriers that make it difficult to access counseling services.
You may be a good candidate for teletherapy or online therapy services if you:
Travel frequently
Find it challenging to leave your office or schedule an in person visit due to your work schedule
Have several ongoing obligations that make it challenging for you to leave your home consistently (i.e. you're a busy mom or caregiver)
Have a fear of places and situations that might cause anxiety/panic, feelings of being helpless, or embarrassed
Struggle with physical disabilities
Live in a rural setting or a community where counseling services are unavailable
You are NOT a candidate for teletherapy or online therapy services if you:
Are suicidal or a threat to others
You have serious thoughts about hurting yourself or others
Your current situation or mental health diagnosis requires you to need a higher level of care or more intense treatment
You are not comfortable with computers/online technology
Grayson Counseling and Consulting Services LLC can provide teletherapy/online video sessions via Simple Practice for clients. Additional platforms are used such as Spruce and Clocktree. I'm pleased to inform you that confidentiality is upheld through platforms for HIPAA-compliant teletherapy sessions. GCCS provides consulting online sessions as well.
*Note: Insurance coverage varies, and some insurance companies do not cover sessions that are not in-person; therefore out-of-pocket rates may apply. Check with your insurance provider to be informed of your coverage.
