Hi. I'm Opal Knight, a Licensed Counselor providing online therapy for individuals who reside in SC, NC, and GA; and I'm happy that you've found the courage to take a step toward healing.
My goal is to help you feel more balanced, empowered, and in control of your life. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, stress, self-doubt, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, we’ll work together to create a path forward that aligns with your goals and values.
Being a helping professional has always been a goal of mine. I believe that I’ve been purposed to motivate, to inspire, and to empower others to love themselves, finding peace with themselves mind, body, and spirit. It is my belief that our relationship with ourselves is so vital in our healing process, in life transitions, our life goals, and the relationships we have in our lives; that if we love ourselves completely, we’ll want the best for ourselves, we won’t have to “pour from an empty cup”, and we’ll be able to give our best to our community and the people in our lives.
I have a passion for helping those who are hurting, especially women, to find emotional and spiritual healing. I believe that counseling gives you an amazing opportunity to invest in your personal, emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and spiritual well-being. When I’m not in my role as a counselor, I enjoy spending time with the ones I love, my family. My therapy is music, or reading a good book. I enjoy spending time in nature, and I find pleasure in the simple things in life. I believe that if you look, you’ll see blessings and healing all around you. I believe that gratitude is the seed for more, and changing your mindset can change your life. My motto: “Live to Grow, Experience to Learn, Forgive to Heal, Know Love, Love Life”.
I do not tell client’s how to live their lives, I am simply here to help you with your life situations. Together we will seek to uncover the root of your difficulties and develop healthier techniques for coping with them.
