Every year, most people celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a man with vision and of greatness. He spoke of justice, equality, love, and freedom. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a man with vision who lived with purpose. He will forever be honored and remembered for fulfilling his purpose and his contribution to society. There's freedom in living on purpose.
Because my spiritual beliefs are rooted in Christianity, I believe in order to live on purpose, your mind, body, and spirit have to be in alignment with God and his will for your life. This is where building a relationship with Christ comes into play. You can build a relationship through prayer, fasting, reading, and meditating on his word- "The Bible". God's will is in his word. Once you begin to walk in purpose you'll know...you'll feel it deep in your soul. Everything will begin to flow.
Romans 8:28 King James Version (KJV) "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
Monday morning won't feel so bad. You'll have successes and you'll have setbacks, you'll have failure, but you'll fail forward. You'll learn from your mistakes and will push forward because you will understand it's bigger than you, or your emotions, it's about the fulfillment of purpose. Purpose will motivate you, it will excite you, it will ignite you. Purpose will make you feel free; free to serve, to love, to follow your dreams, to move into your divine destiny.
I believe that most people desire a life of love, purpose, and freedom. Whatever that looks like for you whether it be more time with loved ones, more time to travel, more time to give, more time to serve, more resources; everyone's definition of success and freedom is different. However, I believe if you live a life of purpose, you won't be distracted by the things you don't have, you'll be grateful for the blessings you do have, and all that you need and desire will come to you. You'll live in peace even with challenges, you'll be free because there's freedom in purpose.
